About TechnologyWatch
TechnologyWatch is an on-line service provided by NBAT. For the three years up to March 2005, it was part-funded by the DTI as part of the Partners in Innovation (PII) research programme. This funding has now come to an end.
TechnologyWatch is associated with the IT Construction Forum (ITCF), which helps companies in the construction sector make better use of IT in their business and management practices. It is a service of the government-funded Constructing Excellence initiative.
The technologies covered by TechnologyWatch are related mainly, but not exclusively, to hardware devices and communication technology, see the Technologies page.
Over the last three years, there have been updates every month, including new features on innovative technologies, jargon-busting definitions, mini-features and news of industry events. We plan to add new material to the site as and when it becomes available, but no longer on a regular monthly basis. Please let us know if you would like to be informed when updates become available, by e-mailing to tw@nbat.co.uk.
If you are a technology vendor and would like to contribute content for the site, send us an e-mail from here.
If you have experience of using a particular technology, please go to the Discussion Forum and share it with others.
