"We have always felt that a technology solution applied to the construction industry must be
mobile, and tailored to fit the end users' needs. Combine a builder friendly ASP with a full
screen mobile device with wireless Internet access, and you ought to have the winning
combination. Has anyone had success in deploying such bundled packages to builders, and if
so, is the adoption of such technology in the UK been promising for technology providers?
With respect to Tablet PC's, two issues have come up for us, one being the difficulty to see
the screen outdoors (Fujitsu states they will have an "outdoor screen" in May), and sporadic
wireless coverage (may be great in the city, but poor where the actual construction site is).
Your thoughts on this topic are appreciated"
